Anglia Region

We are a friendly group from a wide spectrum of Christian traditions who love the Lord Jesus and enjoy spending time together in the great outdoors. Our members come from counties which make up East Anglia such as Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire  and we organise an exciting programme of camping events known as ‘rallies’ on commercial caravan and ‘green field’ sites at various locations in East Anglia throughout in Spring, Summer and Autumn.

On a typical rally, we normally meet together in the morning for a ‘thought for the day’ and then again in the evening for a fun activity such as a game or quiz. The entertainment is very much home-made with all contributions welcome, but nothing is compulsory and there is no pressure to join in! As a focal point of a rally, we hold a communion service on Sundays and later on a short act of evening worship, often a selection of favourite songs and hymns.

There is always plenty of food and fellowship on our rallies and our ‘fellowship teas’ are always popular; we arrange a pre-Christmas meal and our annual general meeting in February out of season is always followed by a jacket potato feast.

We begin our camping rally programme over the Easter Holiday Weekend with a rally on a farm owned by a Christian farmer near to St Ives in Cambridgeshire and conclude with a ‘Holiday Rally’ in September on a modern commercial caravan site near to King Lynn.

Various other rallies take place in the intervening months, and we supplement our own plans by linking up with our friends from the East Midlands Region at Spalding and Skegness for more Holiday Rallies.

You can be assured of a warm welcome and great fellowship if you join a rally run by the CCCF Anglia Region, so why not come and join us?
