WOW CHILDRENS GROUP PRE-SCHOOL AGE 3-RECEPTION

Wow is led by a small team of skilled volunteer children’s workers The aim is that when children are settled, their parents are able to enjoy the adult morning Bible teaching. The Wow morning sessions help the youngest children at SBHR learn more about following Jesus and other faithful Bible characters through music and fun activities in a safe and secure environment. It is wonderful to see the way children in Wow develop their faith and understanding through what they learn across the week.

CHAMPIONS CHILDRENS GROUP

YEARS 1-5

Champions is led again this year by John Hardwick, who is a long-term favourite with all those young and young at heart! John is a full-time singer, songwriter, interactive storyteller and youth evangelist who has written several books and hundreds of songs. We hope John will bring his friend Charlie the cheeky monkey along again to ‘help him’! All the morning sessions will be action-packed, full of fun and games, with action songs, exciting Bible stories and learning in reflective Bible study groups. John will also be leading our all-age worship meeting.

SPRITE YOUNG PEOPLES GROUP YEARS 6-9

This is the 5th year that Rachel has led Sprite. Rachel is a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School so loves bringing creativity to the Sprite programme. She is supported by her husband Des and other amazing skilled volunteers. The Sprite team looks forward to spending time with the young people; some who’ve enjoyed the group before, and others will be new this year. We will be finding out what the Bible says about “How to Live a Spirit Filled Life, and how to apply what we learn in our lives. There will be interactive learning and refreshments in the mornings, followed by fun and games in the evenings.

‘YOUTH’ GROUP YEARS 10-13

We are a vibrant youth leadership group from all over the UK, who come together for SBHR. We all grew up in CCCF and have been working together for years, but getting us all together is a challenge, so you may only see some of us at SBHR! We take the opportunity to serve Youth to ensure you get the same great experience we did. We're passionate about making the content of our nightly meetings both spiritually uplifting and hilariously fun, resulting in an enjoyable combination of learning and madness each evening. The evening meetings are packed with energetic, non-sensical games and challenges -requiring you to work together and form a team - heartfelt worship and prayer - enabling you to study the Bible and strengthen your relationship with God – but there’s plenty of time to connect with each another too. Whether you're up for a competitive challenge, a deep conversation, or just to laugh until your sides hurt, we can’t wait to share it with you in the Youth meetings!

From S and SW on M5 – take the M6 North and exit at junction 10A onto the M54. Continue on M54, after junction 6 it becomes the A5 towards Shrewsbury and Oswestry. Follow the A5 for 29 miles to the A495 (third exit), take this exit towards Whitchurch. The showground entrance is on the left, called Garrison Road, after 300 yards.

From SE and E on M6 - exit at junction 10A onto the M54 then as above.

From N, NW, NE on M6 - At junction 20A, Use the left 2 lanes to merge North onto M56 towards Wales/Chester/Runcorn. At junction 15, exit onto M53 towards Chester/Wrexham Continue onto N Wales Expressway/A55 At junction 38, take the A483 exit to Wrexham/Chester At A483/A5. At Gledrid Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A483/A5 Continue on to A5 until Whittington Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A495 Turn left onto Garrison Ave.

From West – follow the A5 East to the A495 roundabout, take the first exit towards Whitchurch, the showground entrance is on the left after 300 yards.

RALLY UNIT EVENT AND CAMPING PRICES

Caravans, Motorhomes, Campervans and Tent Outfits are all charged the same fees- see below. All outfits are charged for at least one adult, or two if there are two and all children (under 18) are free.

1. £11 per outfit flat rate rally fee.

5. £3 per unit per night non-member fee
6. £3 per night electric hook-up optional for Members or Non-Members

All Outfits have free use of on-site showers and toilets. Most activities in the programme are free but any meals are charged at an additional price.

HERE ARE SOME PRICE EXAMPLES

A 2 adults family unit outfit of (CCCF members) and any number of children pay £40 per night (or £43 with electrics) plus a one off £11 rally fee.

A single person outfit (CCCF member) and any number of children pay £28.50 per night (or £31.50 with electrics) plus a one off £11 rally fee.

A 2 adult family unit (non CCCF members) and any number of children pay £43 per night (or £46 with electrics) plus a one off £11 rally fee. If you join up then you can save most of your annual membership fee!

We think this is excellent value for a Christian family activity week. Most other Christian gatherings and festivals cost 50-100% more than SBHR. We have families returning to us year after year due to the value for money the SBHR experience represents!

A CCCF member family unit of 2 adults plus children will only pay £19 per night, plus a £5 rally fee.

A single person CCCF member will only pay £13.50 per night plus a £5 rally fee.

SBHR runs purely with the help of volunteers, and with this in mind, once you arrive on site please look out for the various rotas that will enable you to volunteer, which will be available in the HUB.
